What
is the EZ Move program?
EZ Move is a national relocation process designed to assist Verizon
Wireless customers moving from one Verizon Wireless area to another.
Will
I need to change my price plan when I move?
If you are already on a national price plan, you will probably not need
to change your existing plan. Regional pricing plans are not guaranteed
for every market. The Customer Service Representative and EZ Move Representative
will be able to analyze your current and anticipated usage to determine
the best plan to fit your needs.
Are
there any special fees for moving?
There are no fees for changing your price plan or your area of use.
If you
change your service, your first bill will most likely reflect prorate
charges. On your first bill after you change your price plan, we will
bill a prorated (partial month) portion of the monthly access charge.
The prorated amount is calculated from the date you began service to
your first bill cycle date or effective date of the calling plan change.
The total prorated amount will also include the next month's access
charge if applicable. We calculate allowance minutes and features in
the same manner.
Will
I need to get a new wireless phone when I move?
You may need to purchase new equipment. This is determined on a case-by-case
basis as many factors are built into that decision, including, but not
limited to, your existing and new price plan(s), service areas, and
equipment.
How
far in advance do I need to let you know that I am moving?
No advance notice needs to be given.
Will
I need to be on a new contract?
No. If you are getting the same plan and promotion in the new market
as the old, your contract is not extended. The contract is extended
if you purchase equipment or accept a new promotion. Remember, the Verizon
Wireless Worry Free Guarantee will stand by you to provide you with
the best service, network coverage and satisfaction.
