Roadside Assistance

Roadside Assistance follows your wireless phone, so emergency help is always easy to reach. You’re covered anywhere in the U.S. and Canada – whether you’re in your own car, a friend’s vehicle, or a rental. You can even lend your wireless phone to a friend or family member, and they’ll be covered, too. Your wireless phone simply needs to be at the scene of the breakdown.

Your safety doesn’t get any simpler and more convenient than this. Only $2.99 per month; your coverage becomes effective two days following your enrollment into the program. Additonal fees may apply for certain services. Roadside Assistance offers a very affordable way to drive with peace of mind.

All service events limited to a maximum of $50, except for extricating/winching, which is limited to a maximum of $100. Towing is limited to 10 miles (or to the tower’s facility, whichever is closest).

Battery Boost
A battery boost will be provided by a service provider in an attempt to start the vehicle.

Tire Service
If the vehicle's spare is inflated and serviceable, it will be installed to replace a flat tire.

Fuel Delivery
Up to three (3) free gallons will be delivered to the disabled vehicle with an empty tank to enable the driver to reach the nearest open service station.

Lockout Service
If the keys are locked inside the vehicle, a service provider will attempt to gain entrance. If the keys are lost or broken and the service provider cannot gain entrance to the vehicle, locksmith service up to $50 will be provided. In cases where the vehicle cannot be made operable, towing will be provided in accordance with the towing provision.

Mechanical Adjustments
Minor/temporary adjustments, including tightening belts and checking hoses and fuses, may be made by a service provider in an attempt to enable the vehicle to operate safely under its own power.

Extricating/Winching
A vehicle will be extricated/winched (by a service provider with standard service equipment) when it can be safely reached from a normally traveled or established thoroughfare. The subscriber will be notified of any charges exceeding $100 and will be responsible for settling charges in excess of $100 directly with the service provider.

Towing
When a vehicle will not start or cannot be safely driven, it will be towed to the service provider's facility rendering the service, or a maximum of 10 miles in any direction from the point of disablement, at no additional charge. The tower may provide additional towing mileage at the program subscriber's request and following tower's disclosure of the applicable rates, charges and conditions. Unless prohibited or limited by local or state regulation, program subscriber shall pay for the additional towing mileage at the time the service is rendered as directed by the service provider.
